Continue (Resume)
You started but didn't finish. Your progress is saved. Click to continue from where you left off. Previous recordings are safe.
Late Start
Past the due date but still within the late submission window (typically 24 hours). You can still submit, but it will be marked as late. Submit ASAP.
Overdue
Past both the due date and late window. You can still practice the viva, but it won't be submitted or graded. Contact your instructor if you need an extension.
Waiting for Review
Submitted successfully. Your instructor hasn't released grades yet. You can view your submission and add comments, but cannot re-record.

Your instructor has reviewed your viva and released grades. Click to see your scores, per-question breakdown, and any feedback.
Locked
Not yet available. This could be because the publish date hasn't arrived, or you haven't completed a required prerequisite (like submitting an LMS assignment).
Special Cases
Re-do Granted
If your instructor grants a re-do, the state resets to "Begin". Your previous submission is archived (not deleted), and you get a fresh attempt.
Extension Granted
If your instructor grants an extension, your personal due date changes. The late window starts from your new deadline.
Verification Request
If you receive a verification viva (separate from class assignments), you'll get an email notification. It appears as a separate item on your dashboard.
